Fans ask why I chose the name “Vintage Beauty”.

It’s because I am so inspired by the olden days – the days in which ingredients were simple, and their benefits weren’t stripped away by opposing chemicals. Everything from makeup to food was simply pure and free of the toxins so commonly found in our lives today. Why did manufacturers feel the need to drastically change their formulas? I suspect it was the need to fill massive orders as cheaply as possible for maximum profit. Suddenly the focus became the money they could earn, not the beneficial services they could provide. As the world modernized and became money-hungry, manufacturers replaced their use of natural ingredients with cheap and ineffectual synthetic additives. Consumers would get frustrated with purchasing cheap products, and would turn towards more expensive solutions to fill the void. If we as a society, here and now, were to plant and produce more natural ingredients and focus on healing the Earth, we would all benefit. We get just one life and to live the best life possible we need protect it from disease and exposure to toxic ingredients. Just take a look at the chemicals found in common hand soap for instance. What should be nourishing and cleansing instead deposits chemicals that can harm our fragile bodies – and this is just our hand soap.
